The twelve Teams at World Finals 2023 were divided into four groups, with the top two progressing into an 8-team single elimination playoff bracket. Reigning champions Zeta Division Zero headed Group C and justified their top billing by winning the group. The Japanese stars entered the semi-finals brimming with confidence before unexpectedly crashing out to underdogs LIG Gaming.
