About

Welcome to GamerSyndrome

We started GamerSyndrome back in 2009 with a pretty simple idea: build the kind of gaming site we actually wanted to read. No corporate talking points, no press-release rewrites — just honest coverage from people who genuinely care about games and the communities that form around them.

What We Cover

If it has a controller, a keyboard, or a touchscreen involved, chances are we have something to say about it. From sprawling AAA open-world epics to the kind of scrappy indie titles that somehow eat your entire weekend (we have all been there), GamerSyndrome covers the full spectrum of interactive entertainment. Reviews, news, previews, editorials, and the occasional deep-dive into gaming tech — it is all here.

Our Approach

Look, there is no shortage of gaming sites out there. What makes us a little different — or at least what we like to think makes us different — is that we write for the community first. Every review is measured against what matters to players, not publishers. Every news story gets context, because a headline without context is basically just noise. We try to be analytical without being dry, opinionated without being obnoxious, and technical enough to be useful without turning every article into a spec sheet.

Think of us as that friend who has played way too many games and cannot stop comparing everything to Dark Souls (we are working on it, honestly).

The Community

GamerSyndrome has always been a readers-first operation. The comments, the discussions, the debates about whether turn-based combat is superior to real-time — that stuff is the heartbeat of this site. We read your feedback. We factor it into what we cover. And occasionally, you change our minds about a game we thought we had figured out.

Whether you are a lifelong console veteran, a PC enthusiast who has opinions about frame rates, or someone who just picked up their first game last week, you belong here. Pull up a chair.
