About GamerSyndrome

Built by Gamers, for Gamers

GamerSyndrome started as a side project back in 2009 — a handful of us who couldn’t stop arguing about whether Modern Warfare 2 was better than the original (it wasn’t, but that’s a debate for another day). What began as a small blog quickly grew into something bigger than we expected.

We cover the full spectrum of gaming: from blockbuster AAA releases to the indie titles that deserve way more attention than they get. Our team writes reviews, breaks down patch notes, analyzes industry trends, and occasionally goes deep on hardware when a new GPU generation drops and everyone loses their minds.

What We Actually Do

At its core, GamerSyndrome exists because we think gaming coverage should be honest and community-driven. We’re not interested in churning out press releases disguised as articles. When a game underdelivers, we’ll say so — and when something genuinely surprises us (which, admittedly, happens less often than it should), we get excited about it.

Our coverage spans video game reviews, gaming hardware analysis, esports commentary, and the occasional deep-dive into game design that probably only appeals to a very specific kind of reader. We’re fine with that.

The Community

The best part of running a gaming site has always been the community. Readers who catch errors in our Baldur’s Gate 3 guides, commenters who recommend games we’d never heard of, people who just want to talk about whether the next Elder Scrolls will ever actually come out — that’s what keeps this going.

We’re not a massive publication with a corporate parent company. We’re a small team that genuinely plays the games we write about, and we think that matters more than having a flashy office.
