Infinite Crisis: Beta Review

Infinite Crisis: Beta Review

Warner Brothers and Turbine bring to you a clash of champions inspired by the extremely popular DC Universe comic series Infinite Crisis. One of my favorite and most enjoyed comic arcs that twists the DC realm in such a unique way. Infinite Crisis is an MOBA, for those of you who don’t know, an MOBA is a multiplayer online battle arena. This game was actually the first MOBA I have ever tried, but I stuck it out even though I felt like a complete N00b playing a game style I’m not familiar with what so ever.  The objective of an MOBA is to destroy your opponents bases with a ‘hero’ of your choosing. The game pins you in a 4v4 battle with a choice of three arenas, though one map is completed two of which are only beta maps still being worked on. Not giving you much of a variety in arenas just yet.

You get a decent selection of characters to begin with and have different options of getting more champions as you earn money during gameplay. One option is the quick way to just purchase game money with your hard earned cash. The second is to earn enough grey coins to unlock different characters, this way is the most difficult and requires more time playing the game of course. The earned coins can also be spent on amplifiers to boost your heroes, new costumes and stole powers well.

Even though the gameplay can seem pretty simple, I would suggest you look to Dawnbase if you never played a MOBA before. This site explains the builds and stats of each character available. I think I am starting to get a hang of the game but still find myself  tower rushing  on occasion and being ridiculed on the games chat. I have had assistance from a few other players who actually try to give me advice on how to play which is encouraging. Regardless the game is addicting and your focus stays driven on unlocking new features as you progress in level.
