E3: Sony At Press Conference: Vita Just Getting Started

Despite a heavy focus on the PS4 at this year’s E3, Sony did take a bit of time to dicuss the interconnecivity and software line up for their own portably device, the PS Vita.

During the beginning of their press conference, Sony extrapolated on what to look forward to, in celebrating the one year mark of the Vita being out. CEO of SCEA Jack Trentton, continued in saying the PS+ will continue to provide great value for customers, as the service will have more free games for the system in the future. Trentton also mentioned the VIta’s worth as an add-on device worth while, as Sony moves forward with the PS4.

Jack also revealed that more than 85 games are making their way to the system before the end of 2013. Some of the titles mentioned include:

  • Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate
  • Counter Spy
  • Killzone: Mercenary
  • Doki Doki Universe
  • God of War HD 1&2
  • Flower (Vita Edition)
  • Dead Nation
  • Final Fantasy X & X-2

And several other exclusives Sony will continue to announce through out E3. Needless to say, a great time to be a Sony fan, whether you’re a fan of their portables, their consoles, or are lucky enough to own both.
