E3: Sony Finally Unleashes PS4, Available This Holiday For $399

E3 is in full swing, and with it, a never ending stream of exciting gaming news.

Today, Sony held their press conference for all to enjoy. Lots of huge news followed, one of the biggest reveals being the physical appearance of the system, and the price of the new console.

Sony has finally let loose on the next gen behemoth, declaring the machine will have (a rather modest)price tag of $399. Considering Sony’s past mistakes in console pricing, and the recent reveal of the Xbox One going for $499, many fans are ecstatic about what appears to be a more attractive value.

While no solid release date has been confirmed, the PS4 is now available for pre-order world wide. If you’re interested at all in Sony’s offering for the next gen, don’t delay. Console allotments for day one are notoriously small, and reports are pouring in that many sites and retailers are being met with a mass influx of consumers putting money down on Sony’s next gen machine.

Stay tuned for more info, as E3 continues to roll out.
