E3: Kingdom Hearts 3 Announced At Sony Press Conference

In another surprising announcement during E3, Kingdom Hearts 3 was officially revealed at Sony’s press conference earlier today.

After nearly a decade  of waiting, endless speculation, and a slew of titles no one could properly pronounce, the third installment in the beloved Disney Final Fantasy cross over has been unveiled to the world. While SquareEnix only provided us with a teaser trailer, the shock and awe that followed was palpable.

The trailer encompassed a mash up of quick series retrospection, to Sora being pursued by a large swarm of Heartless. With no date for release, and no real gameplay footage to speak of, a teaser lacking all of those elements and still maintaining interest is a feat, to be sure.
