Warner Bros Teasing A Batman: Arkham Series Related Announcement

Even though Batman: Arkham Origins has only been released a few months ago, there was no doubt that Rocksteady, the team behind the first two games of the series, was actually working on some new projects. Many have speculated that the team was busy creating a next gen Batman: Arkham game, but nothing official came on the matter.

Something new, however, might be coming before the end of the year. Warner Bros is teasing a Batman Arkham announcement on the series’ Official Facebook page.

“Visit this page on December 31st for a special announcement. More details to come next week!”

Could this mean that a new Batman game is finally getting announced? To know the truth, we’ll just have to wait a week.

Batman: Arkham Origins has been released around two months ago on consoles and PC. The game is set before the events of the first two games of the series, starring a young Batman who has just started his war on Gotham City’s criminals. The gameplay experience of Arkham Origins is not too different from the one seen in Arkham City, with Batman exploring parts of Gotham City, explore locations, take down thugs and confront some of his strongest rivals like Deathstroke and others.
