Two new characters have been unveiled on the latest issue of GameInformer for the upcoming fighting game based on the DC Comics universe called Injustice: Gods Among Us.
The game will be a 2D fighting game with 3D graphics. All characters included in the game will be able to perform light, medium and heavy attacks, together with a special, unique attack: Superman will be able to boost his stats, Batman will summon some robotic bats and so on. Some characters will also have more than a single fighting style like Wonderwoman and Nightwing, making the cast really varied. The game will feature a Story mode, more offline modes and an extensive online multiplayer mode. The story mode scenario will be written in collaboration with DC Comics’ writers: the game scenario won’t be too different in direction from the one written for the latest Mortal Kombat title. As part of the online modes, a special spectator mode called King Of The Hill will allow players to watch the match while waiting for their turn to play.
The newly revealed characters are some famous DC villains and most fans will recognize their faces: Bane, Lex Luthor and Deathstroke have joined the cast and each one will feature their own special attacks and combos.
Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on April.
