Yesterday we have reported that the American company Xseed had registered some domanins which were related to the new Suda 51 title, Killer Is Dead: a pretty obvious hint that the game could be coming to North America, localized by the company itself. Many have asked questions about the matter to Xseed but received no answer.
Today Siliconera reports that Xseed had indeed answered their questions, stating that at the time, they can’t say anything about the game’s western release.
Killer is Dead is being developed by Suda 51 and Grasshopper and promises to be even more over the top than the company’s previous outings like Killer 7 and No More Heroes. The game will be released this summer in Japan on Ps3 and Xbox 360, featuring gory kills, action gameplay, women and many more as main character Mondo will travel all around the world looking for killers to assassinate. The premise looks not too different from No More Heroes but at the same time even more extreme.
With Xseed commenting but not confirming about the Us release, we can expect an announcement in the next days. With an American version possibly coming, European players can anticipate playing the game as well. Stay tuned for more!.
