Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection was originally revealed thanks to a rating on the Korean Videogame Rating Board last week: the game had been rated for Ps3 and it cleary hinted that a reveal would be coming soon. At the same time Hideo Kojima Tweeted an interesting picture, featuring Solid Snake and Big Boss as they appeared in the latest releases of the series.
Now Konami has officially announced the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection: to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the series gamers will be able to get their hand on this collection, featuring Metal Gear Solid 2 HD, Metal Gear Solid 3 HD, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition, Metal Gear Solid: Vr Missions and two digital graphic novels by Ashley Wood.
This collection will truly be the ultimate Collector’s Edition for all Metal Gear Solid fans: let’s not forget that the first two entries of the series, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 will also be available as extras in Metal Gear Solid 3 so this will be the best way to experience the series as a whole on a single console.
The game will be available sometime this Summer: a final release date has yet to be confirmed.
