Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition Coming On Wii U In March

The Amazing Spiderman is a third person open world action adventure game developed by Beenos as a tie in with the movie the Amazing Spiderman released last year. The game was originally released last summer on all platforms: Ps3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and 3DS.

The game takes a not from Batman: Arkham city in its open world gameplay formula and battle system, using a free flow combat system for attacks and counterattacks mixed in. For the rest, Spiderman can freely explore the setting, collect hidden items, complete sub missions and move on with the plot, which takes place some time after the end of the movie with the same name.

The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition will be coming on Wii U in March. Activision announced today that the game will be coming with some extra bonuses, not found in the other versions of the game. Unlike the Wii version, based on the 3DS version of the game, the Wii U game will be based on the HD versions of the game: the Ultimate Edition will include all of the DLCs released for the game, featuring some extra scenarios and a few new suits. The Wii U version will be making use of some of the Gamepads features: players will be able to access Spiderman’s cellphone through the Gamepad to accept new challenges, navigate the city and manage his upgrades. The game will also have the Off Screen play option, allowing players to fully play the game on the Gamepad.

The Amazing Spiderman: Ultimate Edition will officially launch in a few days, on March 8.
