It’s an undeniable fact that there’s a lot of anticipation for the new game in development by Bungie: the studio has mostly worked on the Halo franchises, making it become an incredible worldwide success. For this reason players have been wondering not only what they have been up to but also what they could be capable of doing outside their beloved Halo franchise: it’s surely a big challenge, but Bungie really seems up for it.
Not much is known for their new title, called “Destiny”: Bungie itself hadn’t acknowledged it publicly up until today, when it’s been reported that the writer and design director Joe Staten and art director Cristopher Barrett will offer a glimpse of the game, or rather series at the 2013 Game Developers Conference, since they stated they will be talking about the “next ten years of great Bungie adventures”. Not much more has been said, but it’s probably gonna be a presentation focused on development aspects so may not see too much about the mysterious “Destiny” which is apparently a codename and not a final title for the project. The GDC will be held on March 25-29 in San Francisco, California.
More details may emerge before the conference, so stay tuned for more as Bungie accompanies us into a new, mysterious world of gaming!
