Gearbox Currently Working On Two New Next-Gen Projects

Gearbox, the team behind the highly successful Borderlands series, is currently working on two new projects, as revealed by the team itself during its Pax Prime 2013 panel. Unfortunately,we don’t have many details on these two new projects currently in development, other than the fact that both should be next generation projects.

Beta access to one of the two new games will be included in Gearbox Community Day 2013 Digital Access Pack. This pass also includes an HD livestream of the event, exclusive Borderlands 2 content like heads and skins, as well as two older GB games, Homeworld HD and Homeworld Classic. You can buy the digital access pack through Gearbox Twitch Channel. Gearbox Community Day will be held next week, on September 14th.

On a somewhat related note, the latest Borderlands 2 DLC will be released later today on Xbox Live, North American PSN and Steam. European players will be able to buy the Digistruct Peak Challenge pack tomorrow. Launching together with the Digistruct Challenge pack, is the Ultimate Vault Hunter 2 DLC. If you have already seen everything Borderlands 2 has to offer, these two DLC packs will help you get back into the game’s world.

Borderlands 2 is now available on Ps3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game is also going to get a Vita version in the future.
