Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD have finally been released in Japan today, together with the Ultimania book for the collection.
Included in the book is an interview with scenario writer Kazushige Nojima. As seen on a picture of the interview uploaded by Aibo_AC7, Square Enix may consider releasing a new Final Fantasy X game if there’s enough demand. Nojima also adds that he would love to see a Final Fantasy X-3 game.
Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD include some brand new contents that Western players have never been able to enjoy before. Final Fantasy X HD includes extra boss battles against the Dark Aeons and Penance as well as an Expert Sphere Grid, These bonuses have been only included in Final Fantasy X International and the European PS2 release.
Final Fantasy X-2 HD is going to include the Last Mission extra sequence as well as new dressspheres, a new monster raising system and a few new playable characters taken from the previous game. All these extras have only been included in the Japanese Final Fantasy X-2 International release.
Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD are now available in Japan. They will launch in Europe and North America this March on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
