As you may already be aware, there’s been a lot of talk around what’s next for the Fallout franchise, with Bethesda supposedly working on a few projects related to the brand. Some rumors have emerged a couple of weeks ago stating that the team was already working on Fallout 4, citing an anonymous source that spotted the team in the Boston area, probably searching for the setting of the next game.
Another rumor surfaced last week with a trademark filing for a Fallout TV Show which could be turning the series into a television success as well as a gaming one. Both rumors actually started due to a tease from Erik Todd Dellums, who voiced the Three Dog character in Fallout 3, stating that players would be seeing more of the character soon. With this tweet, speculation started.
In a recent audio interview the voice actor explains the reasons behind his tease: it’s not a fake and the character will indeed be back. He feared that he spoke too much but Bethesda actually approved this tweet so that players could be talking about the series. When asked what’s next for the franchise Dellums said that his lips are sealed and that there’s more than a single thing coming for the game: it definitely looks like the rumors could be spot on this time.
Fallout 4 hasn’t been officially confirmed as of now: reports state that the game might be coming on next gen hardware.
