Disney Infinity Officially Revealed

Disney Infinity Officially Revealed

Just like we reported a while back, Disney Infinity has been rumored for quite some time, but today Disney has officially presented the game. Developed by Avalanche Software, who has developed other Disney themed games like the excellent Toy Story 3, the game won’t be based off a single Disney property but it will include almost everything the company has to offer as far as proprieties go.

The game is based on the Toy Story 3 toy box mode which will allow players to explore a customizable sandbox setting. After the game’s release, extra packs will be offered for download and with them will come more customization possibilities and even extra story modes. The first three packs included in the main game are based off the Pirates Of The Carribean, Monsters Inc. and Incredibles proprerties, each one with a dedicated story mode and a set of toys. The Toy box mode will be the main focus of the game, allowing players to build and customize their worlds to their likings: this is the main reason why the extra packs will be fundamental in building an unique world.

The game will launch in June: Disney has also detailed the prices for the game’s content.

  • Starter Pack: $74.99
  • Play Set Pack: $34.99
  • Disney Infinity Figure: $12.99
  • Figure 3-Pack: $29.99
  • Power Disc Pack: $4.99

This game looks really promising: you can check a trailer for it below.
