Dead Space 3 PC Version Will Be A Direct Port

Dead Space 3 will finally launch in a few weeks and the game will hit Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc with its third person shooter action and survival horror themes. The game will put a great emphasis on the Co-Op mode, with a neat drop in, drop out feature, encouraging players to experience the game both solo and with other players.

The game was developed with the console versions in mind and the Pc version can be considered as a port. Players may have expectd some more graphical options that would have made the game look better on their hardware but it doesn’t look like that will be the case: Dead Space 3 on Pc will be pretty much a straight port with little additions.

Direct X 11 won’t be supported and there won’t be any high resolution textures either, with only a few custom graphics options available: it probably won’t be much a problem for most players since the game looks already great on consoles.

Dead Space 3 will be available in February and you’ll be able to unlock a N7 Armor for the main characters of the game if you play the game on the same system that you used to play Mass Effect 3.
