Carmageddon: Reincarnation New Details And Release Window

Carmageddon: Reincarnation is the latest entry of the controversial Carmageddon series, slated for release during the last months of 2013. The game had been in development for quite some time, since 2003, but some financial and development issues have gotten in the way of the game. Thanks to a kickstarter the project has been resurrected and fully funded and finally heading towards release. As the funds have been gathered, Stainless Games has now given us new details on the game.

The team will be fully focused on the development of the game for most of the year, shooting, as already stated, for an end of 2013 release date. Originally the team was hoping to release the game as soon as possible, featuring very little content but now, with an increased budget, more stuff can be added into the game.

The developers have also implemented a new Bonus System which will grant players points for anything crazy they may accomplish while driving: the bonuses will also have some over the top names, implying how the gameplay experience itself will be even crazier than before.

New stages and cars ar also in development: together with the already shown City and Industrial setting, a new Coastal level will be available, among others. All the cars included in the game will have different features, so that players can find the best suited ones for their own playstyles.
