The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is definitely one of the most successful releases of this generation: the game managed to make the whole series more known and successful to the general public. With the game being so popular and with all the recent additions brought in by new title updates, it’s time that we cover the many aspects of the game. The amount of stuff to do in the game is truly overwhelming: adventuring and battling are only the tip of the iceberg. To truly succeed in Skyrim you will require a deep knowledge of all its gameplay elements and here we are, ready to guide you while we delve deeper in everything the game has to offer.
However before getting to the more advanced stuff we will be covering some of the basics of the game for all those who are just starting the game and are feeling a bit confused at all the gameplay options offered by Skyrim. After we’re done with the basics we will be covering everything else so that even advanced players will find something useful in these Skyrim guides.
- Conserving Arrows
How many times you have wanted to shoot down something with your bow only to change your mind while aiming? A lot of time, I’m sure. There’s a way to cancel your aiming and save an arrow: all you have to do is put away your bow. There’s also another way to save arrows: you can recover all the arrows you have shot towards enemies after they have been defeated. Simply check their bodies after the battle is over. Obviously these tips will be quite useful if you like long range fighting: this will allow you to keep using your bow without having to worry about running out of arrows.
- Mountain Climbing
There are times, while climbing mountains outside the paths, that you won’t be able to proceed further since it’s too steep. There’s a simple way to keep going forward: turn around and jump. Keep moving backwards while jumping and you should be able to proceed: moving sideways also helps if you keep getting stuck. Going over mountains like this will make you save some time while traveling as well as finding something unexpected found outside the “beaten” path.
