Hitman: Absolution Melee Weapons Guide Part 8

Hitman: Absolution Melee Weapons Guide Part 8

More weapons for you to check out in another part of the Melee weapons guide included in Hitman: Absolution. The developers definitely didn’t hold back with the tools of murder and many of them have unique features, best suited for specific situations. If you can’t find a weapon in this guide, please check out the other parts of the guide: the weapons are sorted in alphabetical order.

  • Screwdriver

The Screwdriver is almost identical to the scissors in its uses: it can be used to kill enemies from the front, from the side and from the back. It’s one of the best melee weapons for stealth kills. The screwdriver is also quite useful as a throwable weapon: targets can be killed with some accurate aiming. Like other melee weapons, it can also be used as a distraction to lure enemies away. The Screwdriver can be found in the Terminus, Run For Your Life, Shaving Lenny, Dexter Industries, Death Factory, Fight Night, Attack Of The Saints, Skurky’s Law, Operation Sledgehammer, Countdown and Absolution missions.

  • Sledgehammer

Finally a melee weapon that’s not an object being used in a different way than usual: the sledgehammer can be used to attack enemies from the front and from the back, both cases resulting in the untimely death of your targets. The Sledgehammer can also be thrown but without the Throwing II and III skills, it covers less distance than other less heavy weapons. However that’s not the best use for the Sledgehammer so I suggest you just keep bashing heads with it: other melee weapons are more suited as distractions. The Sledgehammer can be found in the Shaving Lenny, Hunter and Hunted, Skurky’s Law and Countdown missions.

  • Statue Bust

An head for an head, used to say someone and with this weapon it’s really true. The Statue Bust can kill targets by being smashed on their heads from either the front or the back. Like the other melee weapons it can be used as a throwable weapon to distract and lure enemies away. Whether you use it to kill your targets or just to lure them away, please note that the statue bust will break so you can only use it once. The Statue Bust can be found in the A Personal Contract, Terminu, Run For Your Life, Skurky’s Law, One Of A Kind and Blackwater Park missions.
