A new update has just been released for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and while the full patch notes aren’t available yet, Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar has kindly shared some information on his Twitter account. The patch fixes include an issue preventing Dragonfire drones from deploying properly and a Theater mode UI error numbered 226117. A care package bouncing glitch which prevents care packages from dropping at their designated locations is also being looked at.
He also said that Treyarch is working with Sony to resolve issues for the PS3 version of the game, including the infamous crashes during matchmaking. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was released exactly ten days ago on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A Wii U version was also made available on November 18 and the game has went on to generate 500 million dollars in its first day. Reviews have been positive, the Xbox 360 version holds a metascore of 83.
