Wall Street Journal, Ford, Gol Stadium apps now on Xbox Live

Three new apps have made their way to Xbox Live today, the Wall Street Journal Live, Gol Stadium and a new Ford channel are all available in different parts of the world, Major Nelson announced. The Wall Street Journal Live app offers on-demand original programming from over 2,000 journalists worldwide. With over four hours of live programming a day, it covers markets, tech and more and has the entire video archive of the Wall Street Journal. Live is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the U.K. and the U.S.

The second new app is only available in Spain and goes by the name Gol Stadium. It’s the largest sports channel in the country and offers its subscribers live streaming of the Gol Television channel and access to live soccer matches.

Also available in the US is a new advertising channel app from Ford, which will stream commercials from the company directly to your Xbox, in case you feel the need. “We’re continuing to grow entertainment and news options offered through Xbox LIVE so stay tuned for more to come,” says Major Nelson.
