Two new Capcom games are currently available In the Games on Demand catalog on the Xbox Live Marketplace – Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Street Fighter X Tekken. Each game is priced at $39.99 in the US.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a team-based third person shooter set in the Raccoon City Underground Laboratory. Players take control of one of 12 characters from Alpha or Delta team. Their mission is to assist each other in stopping Dr. William Birkin from handing over his T-virus research to the U.S. military and retrieve the G-virus. The game supports both single player and four player co-op multiplayer where players are pitted against U.S. Special Ops teams. Operation Raccoon City received mixed scores from critics. It currently holds a 52 at Metacritic, indicating mixed or average reviews.
Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover fighter, a product of the partnership between Capcom and Namco. With over 50 playable characters, both from the Street Fighter and Tekken universes, the game is a treat for any serious fighting games fan. Despite the typical Capcom controversy about charging for on-disc DLC, Street Fighter X Tekken, unlike Operation Raccoon City, was met with positive reviews. It currently holds a 84 at Metacritic. On a side note, more good news for Street Fighter X Tekken fans as a brand new iPhone game is now available on the app store. Released last month, it will set you back only $2.99.
