If you’re a fan of getting your games digitally and you don’t mind paying more for that privilege and you also happen to like Persona 4 Arena but for some reason haven’t bought a copy yet, then you’re in luck because the game is now available on the Xbox 360’s digital download service – Games on Demand. It’ll set you back $60 dollars, $20 more than a physical copy of the game, but at least you’ll get it instantly.
Persona 4 Arena is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works and Atlus. Set two months after the events of the original Persona 4 game, the console version added a story mode over the arcade release which focuses on a “fighting tournament named ‘P-1 Grand Prix’ starting in a dimension known as the Midnight Channel where characters from the Persona series are forced to fight each other using their Personas in order to progress and find the host.’
The game was a big success in Japan, with around 90% of the initial copies being sold out during the game’s debut week. The game was also very well received both in Japan and the West, with the PS3 version holding a 86 on Metacritic. Reviewers praised the great fighting engine, the stellar presentation and the stylish storytelling the series is known for.
