Microsoft and 343 Games have unveiled a new Halo 4 DLC bundle deal titled War Games Pass, reports Major Nelson. The new pass is apparently your cheapest way to get access to the three new War Games map packs as they become available in December, February and April. With this new pass you get a total of 15% off the three, as well as bonus in-game items including two helmets(‘Scanner’ and ‘Strider’) and a unique emblem(‘Falcon’). The three map packs will be called the Crimson Map Pack, Majestic Map Pack and Castle Map Pack, each introducing three new maps to the game.
The Crimson Map Pack will be available in December and will enable you to “witness the chaos of a clash of civilizations in Wreckage, with its blend of claustrophobic spaces and dangerous exposures and venture into the human colony environs of Harvest, and explore a human foray on an alien moon in Shatter.”
The Majestic Map Pack(February) will have you covered with Landfall, where the “emphasis is on infantry battles against a glittering ocean on a distant world,” Monolith which “exposes you to the naked vacuum of space – and the firepower of opposing teams,” and Skyline which features a “distinctly industrial feel,” providing “new challenges in somewhat familiar, but occasionally confined spaces.”
And last but not least is the Castle Map Pack, available April 2013 and featuring Daybreak which ” is set in a military facility against the backdrop of an idyllic mountain range,” Outcast which “plunges you into the warrens, canyons and arches of an alien edifice.” The final map is called Perdition and according to Major Nelson “takes players into the heart of an urban sprawl, with tactical speed and situational awareness its key features.”
The Halo 4 War Games Pass will be available for 2,000 Microsoft Points($24.99) and will be included in the game’s limited edition.
