Hey everyone!
A couple of days ago I brought you guys an article stating that I got the first official DLC for Halo 4 for free. Turns out it was a bug indeed, but 343 Industries decided not to address it as a complimentary gift. However, not everyone will be able to get it for free as it is only available through a specific pre-determined conditions. 343 have detailed those conditions for us. For those that bought the Standard Edition of Halo 4 like myself, you’ll know that only 2 of the 8 specialization classes were available from the start and that if you played the Hal0 4 multiplayer in the first couple of weeks that you would get a download code in an email to unlock the other 6 specialization classes.
Now, the bug is that anyone who has redeemed that code is able to download the Crimson Map Pack for free! I believe the reason being that the code not only unlocked the other 6 specializations but also the Map Pack as well. This is available through Tuesday, December 18th so I recommend you get to it now! Also, full impressions from the Map Pack are coming soon as well so stay tuned here at Gamer Syndrome!

Just played these last night with some friends. Can I say AWESOME!! We even got some special custom xbox 360 controllers to commemorate the Halo 4 special event and needless to say, we’ve put them to great use. Best game ever, by far.
