Grenades in Borderlands 2 is probably just as plentiful as guns and compliment your regular gunplay. Grenades just like guns have different manufacturers which do different things based on each. So why do grenades need a guide? well there are just so many of them around that it warrants at least a guide to explain how and what they can do.
Grenades like guns can have elemental effects, along with its exploding powers with an elemental effect it only amplifies the damage given to enemies. There are many other variables as well when talking grenades: is the fuse long or short? if long enemies tend to be smart enough to run away from rolling grenades. Is the blast radius small or large? also effects the damage incurred within that blast radius. Does this grenade span “children” grenades? many of the unique and legendary grenades do spawn children grenades and inflict additional damage.
So what do you do with Grenades? well the most obvious is to throw a high powered short fused grenade into a group of baddies and watch them blow up. The other options are to throw a high powered grenade with elemental and long lasting effect into a group of enemies such as corrosion, this should soften them up nicely so you can rain a sky of bullets on them and with Maya’s Converge you can make sure those enemies feel the full force of the massive grenade you just threw at them.
