Hitman HD Trilogy Release Date Revealed

Hitman HD Trilogy Release Date Revealed

Despite the game still not yet receiving an official announcement by developer Square Enix, fans have been anticipating the Hitman HD Trilogy since June, when European retailers listed the game on their websites.

Amazon US has now also listed the Hitman HD Trilogy Premium Edition for January 29, 2013, priced at $39.99 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

The collection consists of the games Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money. It also comes bundled with an exclusive art book. Here are some details of the art book, according to Amazon:

Exclusive Art Book for Limited Edition version (first run version) 22 pieces of never before seen reinterpretations of classic moments from Hitman Contracts, Hitman 2 Silent Assassin, and Hitman Blood Money all done by top artists.

This is an exciting release for those wanting to relive old memories, craving more assassin gameplay after Absolution or even disappointed by Absolution. It’s a great opportunity for those, like me, who missed out on the previous games. I can confirm though that, anyone who hasn’t yet experienced Blood Money is in for a treat.

Speaking of Absolution, a patch for the game is scheduled to release in December to fix the many glitches. A crossover with Deus Ex will also occur in upcoming DLC. You can check out our guides, including our achievement/trophy and challenge guides.
