For those of you that enjoyed Bayonetta and thought a second part was never coming – well it is. For the Wii U. While I’m excited for this, and was shocked to see it, I can’t help but think two things.
This gives people a reason to want to buy the Wii U, and with the interactions between the Wii and the Wii gamepad, it could make for a interesting experience. On the flip side, why is it a Wii U exclusive? This game became a hit with some people who may have been looking for something that plays like Devil May Cry with it’s signature “Crazy Stylish Action”. The story was over the top as were the characters, but the gameplay is so good, it was easy to ignore these things.
Going back to the topic at hand though, we played the first Bayonetta on PS3/Xbox 360. Now, it’s exclusive to Nintendo? How did this happen, and what happens to the loyal fans now? They simply get the shaft? Not cool. Will there it be ported in the future? As it stands right now, if you have no intention on buying a Wii U, you better have a friend who does.
Below is the teaser trailer for Bayonetta 2, so you all can watch this while I scroll my friends list for the one or two people that might actually buy a Wii U.
