Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’s “Revert Pack” downloadable content has been pushed back to early December, Activision announced on the game’s Facebook page. Originally slated for release early November, the pack will contain re-imagined levels from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3.
“Take a deep breath…let’s get into zen mode. OK, ready? We received word that the DLC has been delayed until the first week of December. It will definitely be coming to all 3 platforms then. Again, it’s later than all of us hoped, and we’re sorry about that. Please be civil in the comments,” the update reads. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD was first released for the Xbox 360 in July. It then made its way to the PS3 in August and PC in September. The game is a high definition re-release of both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2(featuring select levels from both games). It premiered to mixed reviews, sitting at a 66 on metacritic. Destructoid’s reviews was especially harsh, giving it a 4.5 with a closing comment of “in a world where THPS 2X is still readily available for less than $10 on eBay, it’s hard to give this HD downgrade any sort of recommendation. The original games earned our nostalgia, while this release abuses it. It’s short on content, quality, and personality. This is not the Tony Hawk I remember spending middle-school summers with.”
Regardless, if you’re a fan of the game or series you should be looking forward to this.
