If you are like me, you have been waiting a good amount of time for Bethesda to release the Skyrim Dawngaurd DLC for Playstation 3. The fact is, however, that may never happen. According to Bethesda “ Skyrim is a massive and dynamic game that requires a lot of resources, and things get much more complex when you’re talking about sizable content like ‘Dawnguard.’ We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make ‘Dawnguard’ good for everyone.” There are apparently some “problems we are not sure we can solve”. Although I am disappointed and sad, I am also furiously angry. Have we learned nothing from Fallout: New Vegas? Plus, a new DLC for Skyrim is currently in the works, Hearthfire. Bethesda says that the two have nothing to do with each other and that they are separate, but me having the mind of a gamer, says thats complete bull s***. I think after the first few problems they didn’t want to go through all the trouble of fixing Dawngaurd. What can we do though? Nothing. I guess we are just going to have to wait and see. I’m not trying to insult Bethesda, I’m just annoyed after this same thing happened with Fallout: New Vegas and no steps were taken to prevent it. What do you readers think? Should we keep hope that Bethesda will deliver, or should we just let it go and set our sights to Hearthfire?
