More DLC are coming for the latest entry in the Halo series, Halo 4, released a few weeks ago on Xbox 360. You could say that everyone was expecting that but now we finally have some set dates thanks to a leak from an ad spotted on the Xbox 360 German dashboard.
343 Industries will release 3 different map packs: the Crimson Map Pack, The Majestic Map Pack and the Castle Map Pack. The Crimson Map Pack will released on December 10 costing 2000 Microsoft Points and it will feature the Wreckage, Harvest and Shatter maps: players will be able to explore claustrophobic locations and more open environments on the human colony on an alien moon. The Majestic Map Pack will be released on February 25 and it’ll include the Landfall, Monolith and Skyline maps with an emphasis on infantry battles and open spaces. The third Map Pack, the Castle Map Pack, will be released on April 1 and it’ll feature the Daybreak, Outcast and Perdition Maps with a combination of both indoors and outdoors open locations.
If you have bought the limited edition of Halo 4 or the War Games Pass these DLC will be available for free: for everyone else they’ll cost, as already stated, 2000 Microsoft Points each.
The release windows for the Map Packs were already confirmed by 313 Industries so the leaked dates are probably accurate: we’ll update you as soon as 313 Industries confirms or denies this leak.
