The developers at Team Ninja must not get a lot of rest lately, with new games’ announcement almost every week and many released during this 2012. It’s true that some of these are ports but still, they’re really working hard on their most successful franchises, making their fans surely happy.
After being released back in September for Ps3 and Xbox 360, Dead Or Alive 5 was announced to get a portable version on PsVita a couple of weeks ago, but not more details have been shared. Today Team Ninja was gracious enough to finally give us a release date and some more gameplay details.
Dead Or Alive 5 Plus will hit the west on March 19: the game will feature Cross Play with the Ps3 version, a new vertical mode which will allow players to fight in an all new first person view mode by holding the console vertically. In this new mode players can control their character by tapping on the screen where you want to attack or by making more complicated gestures on the touch screen to use different kinds of advanced attacks. Among the new features is a new Training Mode full of missions and some graphical touch ups: all the fighters animation frames have been doubled, making the visual experience even more smoother.
Get ready to get back into the fight: March is not so far away after all.
