Despite the overall high quality and success Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is enjoying, there’s simply no way to avoid technical problems, bugs and glitches in such a short amount of development time. Treyarch has been hard at work, providing fixes aimed for all the versions of the game, but the game is still far from being completely fixed on all versions.
One particulary frustrating issue is still present in the Ps3 version of the game: the game tends to freeze a lot during a variety of situations. Sometimes the game even freezes on menus, forcing players to reboot their console and start the game again in the worst cases or just being an annoyance with some frequent stuttering.
As Treyarch still has to patch the issue, some reports going around suggest that players can try a temporary fix which may improve the game’s performance on Ps3. You’ll simply have to uninstall the texture pack from your console: since many players choose to install the pack hoping in better load times and performances, this could explain the widespread stuttering and freezing issues.
This may work or not for you so you can just let us know in the comments below if it is indeed like it is reported.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is available for Ps3, Xbox 360, Pc and Wii U. More patches for the game will be coming in the next weeks.
