Phantom Pain which was revealed to the world at the VGA 2012 with a very spectacular trailer, and was touted to be the next Metal Gear Solid. But now some further details have been revealed about the game by the developers Moby Dick studios.
The first set of screen shots along with the trailer have been uploaded by the studios. The screenshots reveal a hospital setting with the protagonist trying to make his way through. There seems to be a sense of confusion and great action as the premises are seen to be on fire. Death is also made visual with some people are shown lying dead throughout the hallways.
There were many rumors doing the rounds that the game was for next gen consoles. The graphics appeared to be next gen and thus fueled these rumors. But a statement on the website itself reveal that the game runs on the current consoles. The statement issued on the website says, “All footage is shown running in real-time on hardware equivalent to current generation consoles (PS3 & XBOX360).”
The studios has also issued a disclaimer which disassociates itself from social media. Here is what was written on the website, “ Moby Dick Studio and our representatives does not currently operate through any social medias such as Facebook or Twitter, except for YOUTUBE.”
