The next Tomb Raider game is quickly approaching and Square Enix has been releasing more details on pre-order bonuses and special limited editions.
The game will also be available for purchase on Steam and Square-Enix is going to use the tiered Steam pre-order rewards program to make players pre-order the game as soon as possible.
The rewards have been detailed today: gamers who preorder now on Steam will get a 10% off the game’s price and as the number of preorders increases so will the number of rewards.
The first tier will include a free copy of Lara Croft and the Guardian Of Light, the 3D platform released back in 2010; the second tier adds the Challenge Tomb DLC for Tomb Raider, an exclusive new stage with unique puzzles.
If the preorders reach the third tier an Endurance pack DLC will be added but its contents are still unknown at this time: the only available detail is that gamers who preordered will experience its contents sooner than all the other players. The digital Survival edition will also be 10% cheaper and include an exclusive DLC pack, the game’s soundtrack, a map of the island and a digital copy of a 32 pages artbook.
The new Tomb Raider game, a reboot for the series detailing the rise of Lara Croft, will hit shelves on March 5 2013 on Pc, Ps3 and Xbox 360.
