Japanese players and all who bought Zone Of The Enders HD Collection have already being enjoying a tiny glimpse of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gameplay. From January players from all regions will be able to try out the game as the demo launches in the west and check out if the hype around the game is well deserved.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is the latest action game developed by Platinum Games in a joint effort with Konami. It’s the latest entry in the Metal Gear franchise starring the now cyborg ninja Raiden: the game is set after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4 so expect to fight a lot of futuristic, nanomachine enhanced soldiers, together with the infamous Gekkos introduced in Metal Gear Solid 4 and a lot more enemies who wish for nothing more than Raiden’s demise. The game will feature the fast paced action that Platinum Games are known for coupled with a story created by series creator Hideo Kojima and his KojiPro team, who handed the game over to Platinum Games when they encountered problems in creating a game which would satisfy the high quality standards the series is known for.
The demo will be available next month on both Psn and Xbox Live Marketplace and it’s gonna be identical to the one included in the ZOE HD Collection: if you have a japanese PSN account you can download the demo already. Expect a review of the demo from us in a very short while: from what it looks like, the game will truly deliver.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released on February 22 on Ps3 and Xbox 360, with some preorder bonuses and special editions.
