Dark Souls 2 was just announced last week for Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc, promising to bring back its unforgiving gameplay and great atmosphere. It looks like Wii U gamers want to have the same experience as all the others: a petition was recently started to show Namco Bandai that there’s money to be made for an eventual Wii U version.
Nintendo Life reported that the petition to bring Dark Souls 2 to Wii U was started a few days ago, encouraging players to sign to make a Wii U version a reality: it would be the first time the series lands on a Nintendo console and given how the series’ popularity is on the rises, it would do well on Wii U, coupled with a few exclusive features made for the gamepad. So if you want to see Dark Souls 2 on Wii U head over the petition site, sign it and spread the world.
On a related note, more details on the game were shared by co-director Tomohiro Shibuya: the game will feel like a fresh experience without forgetting the roots of the series. At the same time the game will be easier to understand this time, however the difficulty is still gonna be as brutal as ever: it’s going to be like that to allow newcomers to enjoy the game as much as veterans do.
A release date still hasn’t been given: Dark Souls 2 will hit Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc next year.
