There are four types of challenges recorded in the progression menu when in multi-player. Repeating a certain number of feats in a row unlock certain abilities, styles, assassinations and modes. Each challenge has three milestones that reward you with XP bonuses when you have met the criteria.
The first set of challenges are abilities unlocked, unlike ability sets this just gives additional XP when achieved this goes a long with the following three sets of challenges and unlockables. Style – achieved when doing certain cool things such as Aerial Kills, Assassinations – achieved when you assassinate or kill people and Modes – achieved when playing sessions, matches, modes etc..
By Completing these challenges you can gain XP points quickly as some of them only require a single completion instance to gain up to 2000 XP.
