In Assassins Creed 3 there are two types of bonuses that can be obtained. The first bonus is for doing really well in the game; this is called a kill streak and as it implies its killing a series of targets in succession. The second bonus called a Loss Bonus is obtained if you’re essentially playing like crap. We will explain both below.
Kill Streaks are performance based bonuses that can be earned through concurrent accomplishments within each round. Basically if your really good and can make multiple kills one after another without being killed yourself then you will receive additional bonuses such as points and other unlockables or advantages.
Loss Bonus is essentially a “Bonus” for dying, stuns, or contract losses five times in a row. They call it a bonus but really if your failing this many times it’s basically a kick in the ass from the dev team saying.. hey guy smarten up and make some better kills.. here is a small advantage to help you out of this slum.

| Animus Hack | If you perform a kill Streak of 8, this enables you to kill whomever you want from a distance. The sum of points you earn increases with each opponent you kill in this manner. | Level 20 |
| Silent Animus Hack | If you perform a silent Kill Streak of 6, this enables you to kill whomever you wish from a distance. The amount of points you earn increases with each opponent you kill in this manner. | Level 22 |
