Microsoft’s Robbie Bach announced during the companies initial CES statement that Modern Warfare 2 DLC will be available on Xbox 360 before other consoles.
360 owners will be able purchase the DLC packs from Spring this year but the amount of time PS3 owners will have to wait before being able to enjoy the same content is yet to be confirmed.
Just what the DLC will entail was revealed earlier this year, before MW2 was released, when Activision CEO, Mike Griffith, bluntly stated:
“We plan to launch two separate map packs for this title.”

Map packs? Where’s my zombie mode!? Where’s my new guns!? Why do we still have that retarded stopping power perk!? Until these issues are fixed and/or content is added, my copy of MW2 will sit in it’s case.
This game would’ve been almost perfect if only they bought some dedicated servers. But no, now we get bullshit games with a host lagging everyone else, and games ending because the host quit. Yippy infinity ward, thanks for making me feel like I’m playing my PS2 online all over again, because you’re too God damn cheap to get some servers.

On that note, just to add insult to injury, Activision want to start chargin people for their marvelous services.
Thomas Tippl said this in November:
“You should expect us to test and ultimately launch additional online monetization models of some of our biggest franchises like Call of Duty.”
Now wouldn’t that be great.
