Celebrities who use Twitter are most certainly dangerous people…
It appears that Jonathan Ross, a British celebrity, has accidentally burped out on Twitter the release date for “Project Natal”.
“OK. Before bed. Natal on X Box impressive. Not quite there yet i think but tye have til october and if they get it right…skys the limit.”
This comes in just days after Jonathan Ross was invited by Microsoft to test out Natal.
Another person- a journalist- also appears to have had a go at Natal, and even posted information on the time it takes for Natal to actually read the players’ body movement:
“I had a pretty large sample size, sitting through 5 demos, capturing about 40 different movements from a variety of journalists,” he said. “Across those 40 movements, the fastest life-to-screen transition was .08 seconds, while the slowest was .12 seconds. A tenth of a second was the consistent average, though.
Which means that Natal isn’t yet instantly reading body movement.
What do you guys think?
Will Project Natal instantly read body movement on release date, or will it always have a slight delay?
