Wii Fit Plus Target Kiosks and Locations

Nintendo is on the road with its Wii plus excersise vans starting tomorrow at select Target locations in the United States people can get a chance to try out the Wii Fit Plus balance board and games, as well Target is throwing in a 15$ gift card to spend on anything in store just for trying the Wii Plus.

Jan. 14, 2010 Nintendo and Target have teamed up to give people a fun and invigorating way to keep their New Year’s resolutions. On weekends from Jan. 16-31, shoppers who visit select Target stores nationwide will encounter the Wii Fit™ Plus Experience in the parking lot or at the entrances of the stores. Each location will feature eight kiosks where visitors can get some “feet-on” time with the Wii Fit Plus software in an atmosphere reminiscent of a yoga studio.

Visitors will be able to try out the various balance games found in Wii Fit Plus, which uses the Wii Balance Board™ accessory to combine fun and fitness. Wii Fit Plus includes the original Wii Fit activities as well as more than 20 new activities, customizable workout routines and even a way to track the number of calories burned. Nintendo and Target ambassadors will be on hand to provide visitors with demos, information and free healthy snacks from Archer Farms, a food brand found only at Target.

While supplies last, visitors who complete the Wii Fit Plus demo will be given a Target GiftCard valued at $15 that can be applied toward any Target purchase. Wii Fit Plus with the Wii Balance Board accessory is available at Target for a suggested retail price of $99.99, while Wii Fit owners who want to upgrade to Wii Fit Plus can buy the disc alone at a suggested retail price of $19.99.

“If you’re just embarking on your New Year’s resolutions (or have already abandoned them), the Wii Fit Plus Experience at Target stores will show you how you can have fun and stay active,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Wii Fit Plus has so many customizable options, it’s easy to stay motivated and energized all year long.”
