Zelda 2010 Release Details

Zelda 2010 Release Details

The Nintendo Media Summit has been the cause for much speculation amongst gamers, and all week long we’ve been hearing things, believing things, and being skeptical of other things.  Nintendo of America’s Cammie Dunaway recently made an announcement that will come of much importance to fans of The Legend of Zelda series.

“If you compare the first half of 2010 with the first half of 2009, it’s night and day. And from some of the things that Mr. Iwata has talked about and things that we will talk about at E3, like Zelda, you know that we’re going to have a good back half of the year as well.”

Dunaway’s mention of the new Zelda game, while somewhat vague, almost hints at a 2010 release date for the game.  For months now fans and critics alike have been hearing that the new Zelda will be released in 2010 only to hear that it may not happen after all.  If Dunaway’s comment holds true, and a new Zelda will emerge in the “back half of the year,” then gamers will definitely have something to look forward to.

E3 draws nearer, and Zelda fans everywhere are eagerly anticipating new details on the upcoming Legend of Zelda title for the Wii.  Nintendo, you’ve kept us in the dark for a pretty long time now.  I think I speak for every Zelda fan when I say I look forward to hearing some juicy details regarding The Legend of Zelda for the Wii come this year’s E3.
