Wow, not that’s a big number. We all knew Steam was an extraordinarily successful service, but to put this colossal number in gamer’s terms, that’s over two World of WarCraft subscriber bases. Now your mind’s more able to grasp that bit of news. What’s even more impressive is that 10 million of those users have also created community profiles, meaning a large chunk of those subscribers are active in Valve’s online community. If you’re a fan of interesting and completely useless factoids, you’ll probably enjoy the fact that the average gaming minutes of said subscribers passed 13 billion. That’s over nine million days of gaming. I feel like I need to go do something with my life after seeing that because I probably make up a good fraction of that number.
