“You’ll be suprised at how big Rock Band 3 is”, says Harmonix

Ready to start talking about music games again? Get ready to dust off those plastic peripherals and actually gain some musical knowledge from Harmonix’s up coming installment of the Rock Band franchise in Rock Band 3.

Now, unlike the brand Guitar Hero, Harmonix hasn’t built a factory capable of simply pulling a switch to create another music game, Harmonix takes their time and delivers constant song dlc’s leaving no desire for a new game… until now.

Rock band 3 is setting itself apart from other previous rythym games by actually teaching the player more about music, which sounds like a very interesting and promising adddition to the already insanely popular brand.

Rock band 3 will begin to be introduced more through the next couple of weeks, and the lead designer, Dan Teasdale, says to “stay tuned over the next few weeks and months as we chat about some of the in-depth details that make up Rock Band 3″.

So far, Rock Band 3 is stated to rock (and learn) its way onto our consoles later this year. What are your thoughts on this supposed remaking of the music game genre? Keep your eyes on Gamersyndrome.com for updates on this ambitious project.
