Red Dead Redemption Box Art Makeover: Less Red, More Grit

Red Dead Redemption Box Art Makeover: Less Red, More Grit

I really enjoyed the original version of the game’s box art (seen below), but obviously my tastes differ from the majority of the gaming community.  The updated cover looks just as good, with a little more brown thrown in (you can never have too much of that color I always say) toning down the over stylized look to mimic the game’s current look.  I like it, but I’ll let you be the judge so below I’ve thrown in the new box art (the first image) along with the old one below that.  Why don’t you decide for yourself which tickles your fancy, or rather puts a kick in your stirrups?  Polishes your spurs?  Combs your horse?  Still nothing?

Above: the new version; Below: the more redtastic one.

Red Dead Redemption releases on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on April 27th.
