A Second Round Of Portable Phantasy

That is right Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be arriving in North America and Europe later this year. This addition to the popular JRPG franchise was released late in 2009 over in Japan but soon it will make its English language debut.

The story of Phantasy Star Portable 2 picks up three years after the first game. According to its developers the game will boast a strong single player campaign and a powerful multiplayer mode that can be accessed via ad hoc, and infrastructure mode. The multiplayer component will allow up to four players play in the same game mode at once. Sega’s head of marketing promises that the Phantasy Star Portable 2’s multiplayer and single player component will be very satisfying.

On top of Phantasy Star Portable 2’s improved single player and multiplayer components the game features many new weapons and character customization options.

Anyways, Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be released this fall exclusively for the Playstation Portable.
