MAG Gets a Release Date, Beta has Issues

And that date is… drum roll please… January 29th!  Seems a bit early in my opinion.  I mean, this is a unique game that will have to deal with a ton of people in one game at a time so I was expecting them to delay it.  Usually delaying a game might hurt it or make people worry, but with the amount of games coming out in the next couple months I’m sure gamers would be willing to wait a little longer for a more polished experience.  And my worries aren’t unjustified; a beta for the game was launched recently to some serious server issues that kept players from connecting to games.

Hopefully they’re not pushing the game out too early because that’s never good for anyone and we won’t know how polished it is until the game ships for the PS3 on January 29th (unless you were actually able to play the game in the beta that is).  Until then feast your eyes upon this video showcasing some of the games available weapons and equipment.
